Every dream starts with a single step and for me, Triston Matthew Julin Kirkwood from Johannesburg, that step leads to Europe where the pursuit of field hockey and higher education intertwines. My dreams and goals are to represent South Africa by playing in the national hockey team, and I aspire to become a surgeon to save lives. Having had my own life saved by doctors multiple times, it would be my way to thank God by helping others. I am also passionate about studying coaching to teach and inspire young athletes to reach their goals, just as I strive to do so myself.
