Across rural South Africa, smallholder farmers — especially women and youth — face daily barriers to accessing fair markets, sustainable income, and climate resilience. The Cassava Tree Champions for SDGs campaign uses Web3 technology and cooperative share models to unlock new economic pathways rooted in inclusive green growth.

This campaign directly supports the launch of Cassava-Tree-Chain™, an NFT-powered traceability and investment platform that:

• Tags 1,000 cassava and fruit trees in Bushbuckridge with QR-coded aluminum plates
• Digitally links each tree to community-based custodianship
